Too Much Thinking is BAD For You?

Yeah, you read that title right. Too much thinking is bad for you, even if it is good thinking. Have you noticed that when you have a lot of things to do, you feel with less energy?

I am a thinker and LOVE thinking a LOT just because, but lately I noticed that when I think so much I lose my real present life experiences that go by being in the moment.

In order to create thoughts, our bodies need energy and that lack of energy we feel when we are taking a test or studying, is an example of it. Sometimes is better to create a list of things to do, rather than having all that in our brain.

At times I find myself lost in so many thoughts that I become a zombie, but over the years I asked myself this question, why do we think so much? What is the point of thinking so much about trivial matters, problems and things we can’t control?

I think a better approach is taking action with determination and an end goal. I found that when we have a plan and take action without much thinking, we are happier. I’m not saying not think at all, but think less and take more action.

Let’s make a commitment today dear. Let’s stop thinking so much and let’s start doing the things we want to do NOW. Let’s not wait for another as that day may never come and the today is already here.
