Am I too conservative or just behind on how the world is moving? Women bathing suits are getting smaller by the minute and as a man, I should like this, right? Well, I don’t.
I think this post is more like a diary entry, lol, but I wanted to voice this out somehow and what better way than my blog. Anyhow, I think women should cover themselves in such a way that lets men be curious enough to want to see more and at the same time, this gives them more value at first glance, in my opinion, let me explain my theory on this.
When women wear those small bathing suits or fewer clothes (you know what I mean), it triggers natural instincts on all men, especially if they look appealing. For the older intellectual, experience men these natural instincts do not always work the same because these men have more of what I call mental filters. Now, that does not mean that these intellectual men don’t get those instincts, they just don’t pay as much attention to it because they have other things to think about, unless these men are addicted to that in some way; which can happen after repeatedly thinking about lust.
As we live life, we develop mind blocks that filter the thoughts that come in and out of our minds based on our experiences. For example, if a woman has been cheated on many relationships, she might develop a defensive mental mechanism to protect herself from these situations in the future. If a man has bad experiences with some type of woman he might generalize all women of that type and thus creating some filters that won’t allow him to think objectively in that case.
The natural order indicates that men are mean to procreate a lot, that’s why men are able to keep producing babies until they are very old. That’s why there are so many cases where men are unfaithful and that will keep happening until they decide to grow their minds more and focus on more productive things of life. It does not make sense to bring lots of babies to this world unless, we can spend lots of time with them, have the financial means to take care of them, have a healthy mindset to give them good values and principals.
When we are older, more intellectual, experienced, and knowledgeable we focus on other parts of life. Now, if men don’t grow their minds, and stay in the same intellectual levels, instincts will always take over, that’s why we have so many divorces, cheating, and even femicides in the world.
I’m a single man that appreciates women’s beauty and over time grown into appreciating more qualities in them. Growing up in an environment where women took care of the household, kids, and everything else except work, allowed me to know women in that aspect only.
As I got married, had kids, divorced, then took care of my kids by myself for years allowed me to see another side of women that I never knew. From there I started to see that women were more than just somebody to take care of the house, I was underestimating them in many ways.
Now that I was divorced, taking care of a 3 and 4-year old, I started to see that women were more than I thought. I started to see that women were tough, smart, strong, resilient, why? Because my mother took care of my two sisters and me all by herself, with no college degree, minimum wage, and without much help from my dad. My mother cooked, cleaned the house, washed our clothes, took care of us when we were sick, did groceries, took us to school, worked, gave us gifts for birthdays, prayed with us, gave us advice, love, and was there for us no matter what.
I don’t know of any man that can even try to compare to a woman in that aspect. Man and women are just different, each is meant to think differently and feel different according to the laws of nature, God, or the universe.
So, coming back to my point about bathing suits. Some women might disagree with me on this, but I ask this question to them. Would you wear your underwear in public? Bathing suits nowadays leave nothing out of the imagination, and some clothes do the same.
I find it super nice for a woman to dress respectfully with pretty clothes that cover her body parts in a nice way. I think the media and the internet are messing with people’s minds a lot. I find kids speaking with themselves in such a way that is not appropriate for their age level and mentality and that has to do with that they watch and hear all the time.
Advice for women:
- Respect your body.
- You don’t need to wear fewer clothes for men to like you.
- Value yourself
- Study and educate yourself
- Don’t let men or anybody mistreat you
- Don’t be too proud, its a sickness
- Don’t be insecure about yourself, be sure of who you are
- Be faithful, loyal and true to yourself and others
- Don’t ask for what you don’t give
- Always look at your faults first before looking at others
- Always give without expecting
Everybody is entitled to live how they want and do what they want, as long as it makes them happy. My opinions are mine of course and they will be different than yours but I’m pretty sure, there will be some of your that will agree with me.

I’m pretty sure I get your point, maybe starting with the “Everybody is entitled to live how they want and do what they want” would make it all sound a bit less condescending.
Aside from that, I’m not sure this is the way forward. Maybe the ideal isn’t just hiding everything. Being incredibly attractive takes work; in the same way you get a deep pleasure from driving your supercar, not just because of the experience, but because of the effort put into being able to afford it, any attractive person enjoys being able to expose themselves with pride for what they have built.
Not just from that perspective, if you spend some time in nudist environments, you quickly realise that the body always has some sexuality attached, yes, but not nearly as much as context. To me, the way forward is probably closer to being able to be naked if you like, and people realising that it’s not all about how you look, but how you act and your situation. They way one walks can be way more attractive than the diameter of one’s boobs.
It’s not the same to sunbathe naked without any further intention than looking someone straight in the eye while you take your clothes off. Same body, same exposure, but the energy is very different.
I say get everyone completely naked, demystify the purely physical, make it about context and connection.
Imagine you worked super hard to build your six-pack, then someone told you that you’re just showing off and participating in a meat market and you should wear a shirt in the beach. I don’t know about you, but I am proud of my efforts with my body, and I enjoy being as naked as I like.
Hey Edwin,
I am your student here this is the first time I read your post and really enjoyed it. I agree with your great opinion it really matters for me because I am getting married in a few days so will try my best to live a happy life.
Thank you so much 🙂
Hi, Edwin.
I agree with you that Media is messing up our present and future. It’s too much. I also have kids and I’m very concerned what they see everywhere in these days. And of course women should respect them self.
Btw I like your articles witch sometimes are not about programming etc. It’s refreshing.
But I prefer video format. Watched your last video on waking up early and it made me thinking about benefits.
Whats about your minimalist lifestyle right now?
Hi, Kristaps
It’s good to see some people agree with me 🙂
I’m glad content like this.
My minimalistic life still progressing, I’m still getting rid of stuff that I don’t need.
Is there an email I can reach you at to ask questions for an Udemy Course as my organization blocks me from viewing replies to questions and posting questions?
